lyrics
Mixin’ my emotions like a cocktail.
I know it gonna get me higher than that hawk tail will.
Shake it up, shoot it down, down, down.
Here’s a ticket to the crackpot carousel.
A no expense paid trip to a zero star hotel.
Mix it up, break it down, down, down.
Chit-chit-chatter, I’m the mad hatter king.
The spirals in my eyes, well they point to everything, and nothing at all, that’s the point after all.
Nothing at all, that’s the point after all.
I got fifty miles to go to get to nowhere.
I call my compass cactus, she might stick me anywhere.
Take a trip, take a pound, pound, pound.
Said I like my reality with sugar and cream
a touch of forbidden fruit and it taste like a dream. Warm it up, come around, round, round.
Chit-chit-chatter, I’m the mad hatter king.
The spirals in my eyes, well they point to everything, and nothing at all, that’s the point after all.
Nothing at all, that’s the point after all.
Take one part bohemian and one part brass knuckles, stir in some wanderlust, simmer at 100° in Texas weather for 30 something years. Remove from heat and let chill. Serve Bekah Kelso with a folk-hop twist, relax and enjoy.
Wonderful album. I love the departure from your usual sound. I'm fully in love with the first half of the album and kinda wish the second half was a bit louder/faster. And I must say, only Sooj could somehow get me to like an EDM/dub step song. boingoloid

I walked away from playing music ten years ago, disgusted with music and myself. SJ Tucker's songs have played no small part in bringing me back in a truly strange yet beautiful way. The blisters on my fingers and the gloom in my heart are nearly healed. I sat down my new acoustic guitar to write a comment about some heavy medicine and now I'm going to get back to my therapy. I can't thank you enough SJ! Keep up the good work! roddylloyd
